This tool offers only a broad assessment based on data from the National Cancer Institute. It is a projection based on historical data and does not take into account many individual factors that may substantially increase or decrease a person's risk, such as smoking, personal or family medical history and other factors. The tool assumes the person is currently cancer-free.
